About

Imagine. Make. Believe

Our mission:

We aim to stimulate children’s imagination by empowering them to make or create things with cheap and readily available resources, with consideration of the environment, and develop in them the belief that there is more than one way to achieve their goals and dreams.

What we are:

Imagine. Make. Believe is about simple, creative, cheap fun for children.  Our main product is a children’s digital activity magazine, aimed at 5-11 year old boys and girls, as well as a website offering direct sales and free art and craft tutorials and other fun stuff for kids.  The magazine includes art, craft, sewing, recipes, games, drama, stories, puzzles and party ideas, and is issued four times a year.  Most of the content of the magazine is created and developed by children, for children.

We believe parents like their children to be creative, and often don’t know how to facilitate that, or think it is too hard or expensive.  We also believe that they often think they have to do a special shopping trip to buy supplies for their children’s creative projects.  With our magazine, the special shopping trips are not required, and we provide full instructions on the how to’s… and the magazine is cheap (the price of a cup of coffee).  Oh… and every child likes to see their artwork on the wall, so we have a spot just for them in our online gallery.

We believe a little bit of imagination and some simple supplies is all children need to make and believe.  We want to help facilitate that creativity in your child.

Why?

Janelle (Editor), stay at home mother of four children aged between 8 and 13, aims to empower her own children to achieve their goals and dreams.  After seeing some amazing talent in her children, she decided in 2012, to combine her artistic and administrative abilities with the creative skills of her kids, and then share it with the world.  The result is Imagine. Make. Believe.
